Introduction

Michael P. Hottenstein is a Professor of Operations Management and until recently was Co-director of the intercollege masters program in Quality and Manufacturing Management. He is Associate Director for the Center for the Management of Technological and Organization Change one of the Smeal College's research centers. He completed a D.B.A. from Indiana University in 1964. His research on operations management and manufacturing has appeared in AIIE Transactions, Naval Research Logistics Quarterly, Operations Research, the Journal of Operations Management, the California Management Review, etc.

Professor Hottenstein's research is mainly on operations management and manufacturing.
