Each year, the Sherpa Executive Coaching Survey offers valuable insight into the fields of leadership development and executive coaching. This fourth annual survey gathers information about executive coaching from 1,500 coaches and those who hire them.

Survey results answer critical questions like: What is executive coaching? Who gets a coach? Who becomes a coach? How much does executive coaching cost? Is it worth the money? The survey also reports on current coaching trends such as: best methods, standards of practice, meeting structure, and training and certification standards.

Highlights of the survey: The use of coaching for leadership development is up from 7% since the beginning of the survey four years ago. Second, approval for university executive education as qualified to certify a training program has moved from 9% to 14%.
