Preliminary Application For International Ph.D. Applicants

This form is only for International Applicants (non-US Citizens) not residing in the US. All others should fill out the full application form. Please Note: The equivalent of a four-year American baccalaureate degree is required for application. Also note that Real Estate is not accepting applications for Fall 2015.

Objective Tests Taken

Before proceeding with this application, please note that test scores must be reported.

Note: The GMAT is required for applicants in Accounting. The other departments: Finance, Management, Marketing, and Supply Chain and Information Systems prefer the GMAT, but the GRE is an acceptable alternative. The actual scores must be written in the space below and either a GMAT or GRE is required. Predicted scores are not accepted.

A TOEFL score is required if you will not have graduated with a bachelorís or masterís degree from a college or university located in a country where the primary language is English by the time you would start the program at Penn State. These countries include Australia, Belize, British Caribbean and British West Indies, Canada (except Quebec), England, Guyana, the Republic of Ireland, Liberia, New Zealand, Northern Ireland, Scotland, the United States, South Africa, or Wales. We do not accept the IELTS scores.
